Inside the furnace: remove the upper (burner) access door and look on the inside of the door, on the blower compartment wall, or on a sticker facing you at the burner deck.

- building-center lists 10 styles; most are Daikin-McQuay (Daikin Applied) commercial formats, referenced to McQuay replacement-parts manuals. Houston-built Daikin-brand residential units (Daikin Manufacturing Company L.P.) use the Goodman YYMM###### style (style 10). Japan/Thailand-built ductless & VRV serials (e.g. 7-digit A000129) do NOT encode the date; read the MFG. DATE printed on the plate (style 1).
