Example: serial 2020.05 decodes to May 2020.

Official lookup: the authority

Open the official Gree lookup takes serial number; returns warranty / registration lookup; URL verified live

This site is a reference built from published tables. The manufacturer's own lookup wins whenever the two disagree.

Gree prints the build date on the data plate as YYYY.MM ('Date of Manufacture 2020.05'); building-center does not decode the serial itself. greecomfort.com/warranty-program/ = 200 and links a serial-number warranty search at /gree-warranty-registration-search. Gree also OEMs for many brands; Daikin-Gree JV (2008-09) units may use either company's style.
